Senior Management Team

Mr. Manna Shome is the Managing Director and CEO of NRB Bank Securities Plc. He completed his Masters of Commerce (M. Com) from The National University, Bangladesh, Major in Accounting. He brings 05 years’ experience and standard in NBL Securities Limited as a Managing Director and CEO. He has 3 years’ experience of working with NRBC Bank Securities Limited as a Managing Director and CEO. During his working life he worked in various companies such as Akij Securities Limited, Sheltech Brokerage Limited, United Commercial Bank Limited and Grameen Phone Limited. His contribution to the establishment of Sheltech Brokerage Limited, United Commercial Bank Limited. And NRBC Bank Securities Limited is undeniable. Mr. Shome have more than 22 years of Experience in Financial Institutions and multinational companies. He has taken up several successful training and workshops held locally and globally on career management & leadership. He has attended various international conferences held in UK, Dubai, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, India and China.

Mr. Md. Shamsul Arefin joined NRB Bank Securities PLC as Head of Finance & Accounts and Compliance on 6th October 2022 from the beginning the operations of this company. He is also the CAMLCO in NRB Bank Securities PLC.

He has to his credit a wide range of capital market experience of more than 12 years which includes serving in key positions in a number of brokerage house of Dhaka Stock Exchange Ltd. Prior to joining in NRB Bank Securities PLC, he was the Manager-Finance and Compliance of Tristar Securities Ltd (TREC #259. Mr. Arefin starts his career in AB & Co. Ltd (TREC # 043) as a Compliance Officer in 2011.

Mr. Arefin completed his graduation and post-graduation in Accounting from Dhaka College under National University. He also completed Chartered Accountancy course from HUSSAIN FARHAD & CO. Chartered Accountants, which is ranked within the top 15 audit firms by Bangladesh Bank.

Mr. Mohammad Atiar Rahman is the Head of IT and Settlement of NRB Bank Securities PLC, since its inception in 2022. Prior to joining in NRB Bank Securities PLC, He served in Green Delta Securities Limited. He has completed his Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from a reputed Private University. Mr. Atiar also participated in many Trainings and Workshops in Capital Market which were Organized by DSE, CSE and CDBL to name a few. He has more than 15 years of experience in IT Industries. He has considerable experiences in Capital Market as well.
